Markers and indexes
Here you can find clarifications about the numbers and letters on the side of a tyre.
For instance: 195/65 R15 90H
- 195 – tyre width in millimetres
- 65 – tyre height (profile) expressed as a percent from the width. In a given case, it is 65% from 195 mm
or 126.8 mm. - R – radial tyre
- 15 – diameter of the alloy wheel in inches
- 90 – load index or allowed load per one wheel of the vehicles (see table “Load indexes”)
- H – speed index (see table “Speed indexes”)
